PETROL PRICE

Premium petrol price increased

Shell Companies of Thailand, Siam United Service (Susco) and Petronas Retail (Thailand) will raise their octane-95 petrol price by 50 satang per litre, effective on Thursday.

After the increase, the new price in Bangkok would be Bt31.69 per litre.

It was reported that PTT will hold on the price increase.

The increase followed the Oil Fund's decision on Monday not to cut contribution from octane-95 petrol sales by 40 satang per litre. Other fuel products' contribution is cut. Under the decision, oil retailers need to increase retail prices when global prices climb up.
