Amata increases stake in VN subsidiary
Amata Corporation Plc's board approved the acquisition of the 2.10 per cent stake in Amata (Vietnam) Co Ltd from Siam Commercial Bank.
It expects the transaction to take place within this month. It will finance the purchase with working capital. The purchase amount is under negotiation.
Amata (Vietnam) is an industrial estate developer in Vietnam which has registered capital of US$17 million.
Amata's stake in the subsidiary will increase to 62.88 per cent after the purchase, it said in the statement to the Stock Exchange of Thailand on Wednesday.
