General manager Wirote Kappiyajanya said demand for double houses and single-detached houses ranging from Bt1.5 million to Bt3 million was still rising, as proven by Bt500 million worth of sales of in the first 10 months of the year from the company's first project on Ram-Indra Road.
Given this positive feedback, the company plans to proceed with three new residential projects collectively worth up to Bt2.5 billion next year. The first will be located on Rama IX Road and worth Bt500 million, while the other two will be launched in the second half of the year and worth up to Bt1 billion each, he said.
"We cannot say where the second and third projects will be located, because that is still under study, but we believe they'll be close to main roads and convenient for transportation," he said.
Meanwhile, Prompt Pattana will launch a new Bt750-million residential project next Sunday called Prompt Pattana Green Nova Ram-Indra. Both detached houses and double houses will go for Bt1.85 million to Bt3 million a unit.
Wirote said home-buyers who preferred detached or double houses had a different lifestyle to those who sought city condominiums. By catering to this demand, Prompt Pattana believes it will achieve its sales target.
Prompt Pattana Property, which is wholly owned by Sansiri, was formed last year specifically to develop projects offering detached houses and double houses with prices lower than Bt3 million a unit. Its first project, on Ram-Indra Road, was worth Bt1 billion.
The company reported sales of Bt600 million last year and expects to another Bt600 million this year.
