Party secretary general Suthep Thuangsuban is to contest the direct vote in his Surat Thani hometown.

Abhisit's proportionate vote constituency No 6 comprises Bangkok, Samut Prakan and Nonthaburi. His running mates include Charoen Kanthawong and Pothipong Lamsam.

Chuan's proportionate vote constituency No 8 consists of Surat Thani, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Phatthalung, Satun, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwas. His team includes Banyat Bantadtan and Trairong Suwankhiri.

For proportionate vote, ballots will be cast in eight constituencies for a total of 80 House seats.

The direct vote will see 400 House seats up for grabs spreaded over 197 constituencies.
