Wadah joins People Power

The Wadah faction annouced Friday it would join the People Power Party.

Seven of the faction's former MPs under the disbanded Thai Rak Thai Party showed up at a press conference held at the PPP headquarter.

They confirmed the faction would run the December 23 election under PPP.

The faction's members include Den Toameena, Areepen Uttarasin and Muk Sulaimarn.

Wadah quit from Thai Rak Thai shortly after the coup of September 2006 which ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
