NLA members to ask Constitution Tribunal to rule over disbanded TRT executives

Prasong Soonsiri said Wednesday a group of the National Legislative Assembly's members were about to ask the Constitution Tribunal to rule if former executives of the disbanded Thai Rak Thai Party could get involved with political activities these days.

He said a few political agencies had the same plan as of the NLA members because they were confused about the former TRT executives' roles.

The 111 TRT executives have been banned from assuming political post for five years after the Tribunal ruled to disband TRT in May.

Prasong said those NLA members were collecting documents and evidence related to the case.

He believed some of the 111 executives who were still politically active, either by advising new political parties or giving any kinds of support, had violated the Tribunal's verdict.
