SET ends up 0.62%

Thai shares ended marginally up on Wednesday as rise in bank stocks offset loss in energy stocks.

The SET index started the day with a fall before it successfully reversed to close the market in positive territory at 907.28, or a 0.62 per cent gain. Turnover was moderate at Bt32.12 billion.

Among most active, Kasikornbank (KBANK) was up 2.9 per cent at Bt89.50, Bangkok Bank (BBL) rose 1.6 per cent at Bt125, PTT Plc (PTT) went down 2.8 per cent at Bt416, and Banpu Plc (BANPU) fell 5.1 per cent at Bt444.
