Valencia oust coach Sanchez Flores

Madrid- Spanish club Valencia sacked coach Quique Sanchez Flores early Monday after two losses - in both the Champions League and La Liga - in five days, club spokesman Jesus Wollstein said.

Valencia - currently fourth in La Liga - lost midweek to Rosenborg 2-0 in the Champions League and again to Sevilla 3-0 Sunday in road games. The defeats sealed the fate of Sanchez Flores, who had already been booed by fans in several home games this season.

He is to be immediately replaced by Oscar Fernandez, the coach of the club's second team, currently in the fourth category of Spanish football, although Valencia is looking for a more permanent replacement.

A former Spanish international, Sanchez Flores played for Valencia before becoming its coach for just more than two years.
