"Crush means press or squeeze with a force. It also means to be attracted to something. The term matches the mag's concept: once seeing the mag, the reader will hopefully have a crush on it at first sight. This mag was conceived out of the love for magazine publishing. We see the opportunity for our magazine to grow in the market and attract potential readers," he says.
He adds that the first issue of Crush features Songkran Techananarong as its cover guy. Crush guys, he says, possess distinctive personalities and characteristics unlike any other in terms of fashion, lifestyle, vision, and cutting-edge opinions.
Its editorial team will be strengthened by a line-up of leading writers including Suriyasai Katasila, Sorakon Adunyanon, Dr Singh Interchooto, Nonzee Nimibutr, Patrick Jaiyanam and Niwat Kongpien.
Befitting the magazine's style, the party for its launch, held on the eighth floor of Zen, CentralWorld, was suitably a gathering of smart guys strutting their stuff. The highlight of the event was a fashion show joined by professional young male models and special guests, including Chartayodom Hiranyatthiti, Byron Bishop, Rapeepatr Ekpankul, Stephan Sunti Veeraboonchai, Pirunpan Tephasadin Na Ayutthaya, Mike Kingpayom, Nawat Kulrattanarak, Rujira Choykeo, Pitchanart Sakakorn and Alisa Wills.
The event ended with guests expressing their high expectations about the sustainability of Crush.
