HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana's condition is better and she can now move her right hand, the Royal Household Bureau (RHB) said yesterday.

Her right side has regained strength and her fever has gone.

The bureau's statement said the Princess' blood pressure was stable and doctors were continuing to administer medicine and organise physical therapy.

The statement also reported that His Majesty the King's condition was improving and he can take longer walks with the aid of a cane.

Both the King and Princess are in Bangkok's Siriraj Hospital.

The RHB yesterday merged the well-wishing books for His Majesty and the Princess for more convenience to the crowds of visitors.

Among dignitaries who visited the hospital yesterday were representatives of the Kuwaiti, Swiss and Brazilian embassies, Thanphuying Jongkol Kittikhachorn, privy councillors Thanin Kraiwichian and Asanee Pramote, Army chief General Anupong Paochinda and former prime minister Chuan Leekpai.
