Die Hard 4.0
The Disc: Catalyst Alliance has released two versions. The cheap one-disc version, at a cover price of Bt499, has a few special features including deleted and extended scenes, gag reel and a featurette titled "Die Hard By Guyz Nite", in which the band that recorded the theme song explain how they became involved with the project. The DVD is selling for between Bt320 and Bt420.
The two-disc version offers a full range of bonus features including audio commentary by Bruce Willis, Len Wiseman and Nicolas De Toth, in which they explain why the movie was changed from a R rating to a PG-13 in the US, the language they had to remove, the level of violence that could be used and the changes made to the script.
Those with an interest in special effects will enjoy the featurette "Analogue Hero in a Digital World". There's also an interesting interview with real-life hackers and a look at cyber terrorism. Buy now and you could get a special recording key ring (while stocks last).
Subtitle options are English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Tagalog, Bahasa and Thai.
The two-disc version has a cover price of Bt599 and is retailing for between Bt420 and Bt520.
Midnight Sun
The Story: Kaoru (Japanese pop sensation Yui) is inflicted with a rare skin disorder that prevents her from being exposed to sunlight. She seeks solace in playing guitar and singing at the train station at night. She notices Koji (Takashi Tsukamoto), a surfer who always goes surfing before sunrise. The path of Kaoru and Koji crosses and they develop a moving romance under the midnight sun...
The Disc: The DVD has no special features so it has a cover price of Bt289 and is selling for between Bt170 and Bt220. The soundtrack options Japanese and Thai and only Thai subtitles are available.
