Mayuree Chaipromprasith, assistant managing director for business promotion, said the focus would be on fostering a shopping atmosphere with a trendy look, including the latest Siam Centre pop-art decor throughout the mall and entertainment activities to continue drawing targeted customers aged 12-28.

It will create even more of a shopping atmosphere for the coming Christmas and New Year's period.

Activities include five mini-concerts, as well as major sponsorship of renowned South Korean boy band Dong Bang Chi Ki's concerts at Muang Thong Thani on December 15 and 16.

Siam Centre currently attracts 80,000 visitors on weekdays and 100,000 on weekend days. Local visitors account for 60 per cent, with the rest tourists and expats, mainly from Japan and Hong Kong. Average spending per bill is Bt3,000, Mayuree said.
