Chuwit blames Banharn for despotism

Chat Thai Party deputy leader Chuwit Kamolvisit lashed out on Friday at his party leader Banharn Silapaarcha for despotism in allowing only his family members to make party's decision.

Chuwit also vowed not to contest the general election even if Banharn would agree to put his name at the top of the party list for candidates for proportionate voting in Bangkok.

"Banharn must change his style of work and stop confining the decision making process to himself and his son and daughter," he said.

He earlier threatened to run under a new banner if his party refuses to name him as the top partylist candidate for Bangkok. Later he changed his mind by saying he would not switch loyalty if his party agrees to put him up as the top two candidates.
