The relatives of Patchadaporn Kongkarian met with Siam Park executive chairman Chaiwat Luengamornlert after he attended her funeral service in Roi Et's Phone Thong district. Chaiwat did not comment on whether Siam Park would agree to the demand.

Six people - two adults and four children - were injured after one of two boats on the Indiana Log ride collided. Patchadaporn was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Wongduen, a younger sister of Patchadaporn, said earlier she had asked for Bt600,000 from Siam Park as initial costs, including money for the funeral, but had only received Bt20,000.

Her 10-year-old stepdaughter, Supatra Wong-anu, remained hospitalised as of yesterday.

Chaiwat said earlier that Siam Park was responsible for the accident and that Bangkok Insurance Plc, with which Siam Park has coverage, would initially make the payments for all costs and medical bills for the five injured.

Chaiwat, who met with police yesterday for questioning, has not been charged with any offence, while two employees who operated the Indian Log have been suspended.
