NPLs records 4.44% in Q3

Bank of Thailand yesterday announced non-performing loans (NPLs) of financial institutions for the third quarter this year at Bt260.72 billion representing 4.44 per cent of total loans, marginally rose from 4.41 per cent in the previous quarter.

Of the total NPLs, Bt258.45 billion was bad loans from banks which represents 4.42 per cent of banks' total loans, slightly down from 4.40 per cent of the second quarter. The remaining were NPLs of finance firms and credit fanciers by Bt1.99 billion and Bt282.66 million, respectively. - The Nation
