Samak might be duped by faked documents

Council for National Security spokesman Colonel Sansern Kaewkamnerd said on Wednesday that People Power Party leader Samak Sundaravej might be a victim of a scam to sell him fabricated information designed to discredit the junta.

"Samak's party is known to have a lot of money and certain cunning soldiers might fabricate classified documents and send them to him in exchange for underthetable payments," Sansern said in an interview with Channel 3.

He was reacting to Samak's claim about obtaining two classified documents which outlined the junta's plot to undermine his party.

He said although he was not authorised to discuss classified information, he had never come across any military documents spelling out plans to involve in illegal activities.
