Managing director Chaithep Pattarapornpaisarn said the company, which runs the upmarket Cantonese restaurant Lee Kitchen, would focus on creating awareness of its two flagship brands - Lee Kitchen and Lee Cafe - to position itself as the leading player in the Chinese-restaurant business.

"We've invested Bt10 million to expand our main kitchen facility to train our staff. We will also focus on our home-delivery service, which has enjoyed 10-15-per-cent growth year on year," he said.

Chaithep said the company would also increase useable space in its restaurant on the fourth floor of Siam Centre and promote it as a community restaurant where individual and corporate clients could host small seminars and parties.

The company expects about 220,000 visitors at the nine-day fair from December 8-16, generating a cash flow of more than Bt350 million.

AC Asset on parade

AC Asset will stage an "SC Parade" event on Sunday, to boost sales of its single-house and town-home units in what is left of this year's final quarter.

The company plans to give away a home and furniture worth Bt1 million as a special promotion for five key projects at different locations under its two flagship brands: Bangkok Boulevard and Vista Park.

The company expects the "SC Parade" event to generate Bt100 million in sales.
