Danuporn Punakanta, deputy spokesman of the People Power Party, said yesterday that the party has 22 former MPs and eight fresh faces ready to run.

The line-up also includes Netiphum Nawarat, son of former Bangkok senator Nitiphum; Jaruwong Ruengsuwan, nephew of former election commissioner Jaruphat; Wigran Suppamongkol, nephew of ex-foreign minister Kantathi; Wichianchote Sukchoterat, former national counter corruption commissioner; and Leelawadi Watcharobon, a former actress.

Chalerm Yubamrung's two sons will have to wait for the party's executives to determine whether they will be fielded in Bangkok, Danuporn said.
