The P-Net would not help the EC to supervise the forthcoming election scheduled on December 23, he said.
P-Net only asked for a formal letter of apology but it had received nothing, he said.
P-Net had a row with the EC recently after EC member Sodsri Sattayatham had voiced suspicion about P-Net's involvement in financial misconduct, alleging that it had received a budget of Bt80-million from the EC. P-Net dismissed the allegation, saying it had never asked for any budget from the EC.
Later, the EC conceded Sodsri's remarks were inappropriate but refused to apologise comments made in an individual capacity.
Somchai said P-Net did not join the EC meeting on electoral preparations today (October 18) following its boycott decision.
He said P-net would file a defamation lawsuit against Sodsri next month after its chairman Gen Saiyud Kerdphol returned from abroad.
