Wife Janwipa Ampapankit accused the 40-year-old model; Kara Polsasit, to have an affair with her husband.

The court read the verdict in the case that Janwipa sued Kara for her alleged intimacy with her real estate developer exhusband Suratchai Keunghakit via email contacts in the year 2005, while Janwipa and Surachai were not yet divorced, thus causing her family to be broken. Janwipa demanded for Bt20 million in compensation plus the interest of 7.5 per cent per year until the full payment is made.

Since this case was a family case, media members or nonrelated parties were not allowed to observe the trial. Before the onehour verdict reading, Janwipa went to court with her relatives and her lawyer, while Kara was preoccupied with errand aboard thus assigned a lawyer assistant to hear the verdict on her behalf.

After the verdict, Janpiwa went out from the back door and gave no comment to journalists waiting outside the courtroom. Janwipa's lawyer Supan Seuhan told reporters that the court dismissed the lawsuit but he could not elaborate the case details. He said the plaintiff would definitely file an appeal within 30 days as the law required.

Prior to this case, Janwipa had filed a divorce from Surachai at the Central Juvenile and Family Court, to which the court ordered the couple to divorce, granted Janwipa a custody right over their two children and ordered Surachai to pay child support fee at Bt50,000 a month.
