Indonesian scholarships

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia will be granting the Dharmasiswa Scholarship for 750 foreign students, including Thais, for the academic year 2008/2009.



Scholarship winners will study Indonesian art and language at 44 higher-learning institutes. The scholarship's Dharmasiswa Regular programme will run from August/September 2008 to July 2009, while Dharmasiwa Short Course runs from February to July 2008.

Candidates should be under 35, be fluent in English, have at least a grade-12 certificate and basic knowledge in the proposed field of study.

The Dharmasiswa Scholarship covers tuition, a monthly allowance of US$110 (Bt3,760) and clothing expenses paid upon arrival.
