Gasoline prices revisit the record high

Oil retailers will raise retail gasoline prices by 40 satang per litre tomorrow, pushing the price of octane-95 gasoline to the record high of Bt30.39 per litre.

Gasoline price first made the record on May 19 2007.

The retailers however will maintain the diesel price.

The decision followed the continued spikes in global oil prices. On Tuesday, oil futures made a new record high at US$86.64 (Bt2,959) a barrel.
