"I was shocked when I saw news reports that Khun [Chat Thai leader] Banharn [Silapa-archa], bans me from running in the election in in Don Muang, which is my constituency," she said.

Janista, who is the party's spokeswoman, then she checked with some executive members who informed her that the reports were groundless.

Janista reportedly missed many party's meetings, which upset Banharn, so he told members not to discuss works with her.

However she said she went to United States for three weeks to observe its US election campaign.

Janista admitted that some Democrat Party members asked her when she would join Democrat. "However, I believed they were joking for saying that," she said.

Meanwhile Banharn denied banning Janista, insisting the party will send her to run the election in Don Muang.
