RS campaigns for the homeless
Entertainment company RS Plc is strengthening its corporate social responsibility programme with the partnership with Habitat for Humanity Thailand to campaign for the construction of new houses for the poor.
Pornphan Techrungchaikul, a senior executive of the company, said that as a 26-year organisation with a large number of artists and employees, it is ready to campaign for the public to donate construction materials, money and labour for such construction.
Its artist Rattaphum (Film) Tokongsap is appointed the foundation's ambassador to lead the campaign and synchronise efforts by the public and private sectors.
"We want to raise awareness among the new generation to help the underprivileged. Film could play a vital role in this regard," she said.
