Camolese replaces Orsi at Livorno's helm

Milan - Coach Giancarlo Camolese was set to begin work with Livorno Wednesday after the Tuscany side fired Nando Orsi seven games into the Serie A season, the club's website reported.

A 1-0 defeat against Catania at the weekend was Livorno's third straight, leaving them rooted on two points with a goal difference of minus 11. Livorno and four-point Reggina are the only sides still seeking their first win.

Camolese, 46, signed a two-year contract which includes a bonus in case he manages to avert relegation. Camolese coached Torino, leading them to promotion to the top flight, Reggina and lower-division Vicenza.

Orsi is the first trainer to be fired this season in the Serie A, where 13 coaches were replaced last season.
