Nephew believes aunt's death is from accident

A nephew of the millionaire businesswoman who drowned on Monday after her car reversed into a pond near her home said he believed that what happened was an accident.

Thanant Bunyatul said his aunt Mayurin Maytheeworrathanont was never a good driver and scarcely drove herself. He said technicians from Honda also inspected the sedan which Mayurin was driving and later plunged into the pond, found nothing wrong with its engine or gearbox.

Lat Phrao police still need to further question Honda technicians and complete their investigation before they close the case.
