Director-general Padungsak Thephasdin na Ayudhaya said five officials of Bhutan's labour and human resources ministry would be here from October 8-12.

Four officials will inspect businesses and factories in Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Nakhon Pathom and Ayutthaya, while the other will study migrant workers with the Department of Employment, he said.

In addition, executives of Bhutan's labour and human resources ministry will visit the Thai Labour Ministry to observe its activities from October 22 to 26.

Dr Chaiyuth Chavalitnitikul, a senior expert at the ministry, went to Bhutan to help it form a framework for national labour policies, safety laws and regulations, and employer and employee training.

The Labour Ministry said working with Bhutan was a way to help a neighbour.
