BKK residents more confident in income prospect
Thailand Marketing Research Society's survey showed Bangkok residents are more confident in their income prospect, due to the upcoming election.
In the August survey, 27 per cent of the 500 respondents are confident in their income prospect, against 25 per cent three months ago. They are now ready to spend more, citing houses, vehicles, domestic travelling and beauty products as the items to spend for.
Top of the issues that concerned the resonpondents was the strong baht as the respondents feared that that some companies could be put out of business and shed jobs.
