SET closes down 0.33%

Thai shares closed 0.33 per cent lower on Wednesday on profit-taking after the strong gain in early trade.

The SET index started with a rise and headed north further to intraday's peak at 858.84 before falling to close the day at 850.58, off the day's trough at 850. Turnover was moderate at Bt19.33 billion.

PTT Plc (PTT) fell 0.60 per cent at Bt330, PTT Exploration and Production Plc (PTTEP) was flat at Bt135, Kasikorbbank (KBANK) was up 1.20 per cent at Bt84, Bangkok Bank (BBL) rose 0.86 per cent at Bt117, and Total Access Communication Plc (DTAC) jumped 2.48 per cent at Bt41.25.
