And "The AN* Concert" - on October 14 at the Chamnarn Phenjati Building on Bangkok's Rama IX Road - sounds like a goodie. Guest performers include Moderndog, Mama Blues and Jantanee Unakul and the twin crooning bosses of the Saha Group, Boonchai and Boonyakiat Chokwatana.

And it's for a good cause, too. The Phenjati family is raising money to build a Buddhist temple outside Rome (yes, the one in Italy). Wat Santi Jittaram will be a sister temple to revered monk Luang Por Cha's Wat Nong Papong.

Noo Whan has put together a terrific career for herself in show business, but she's got to be a little nervous about this gig. Not only will she be sharing the stage with the whole family, her mother is one terrific singer. Better get in some heavy rehearsal time.
