Sommai's fate up to Surayud's decision

Deputy Finance Minister Sommai Phasee said if he will resign depends on Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont's decision.



He said in a press conference after the National Counter Corruption Commission found that he holds exceeding 5 per cent stake in Kamala Beach Resort.

 "My case is not obvious. My stake is not significant. It was shut down operation and I was not receive any contact about this firm for year," he said.

 Sommai said after a meeting with Prime Minister that Gen Surayud also confirmed that he would not step down until the next government is formed and the officially general election would be announced next week.
