Doubles hole-in-one for father and son

Wellington - New Zealand father and son Trevor and Mike Jones both scored a hole-in-one in the same hole when playing a round at the Waitemata Golf Club, near Auckland, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

The feat, which was witnessed by two other golfers playing with them, occurred on the course's 118-metre par-three 10th hole, the New Zealand Herald reported.

Trevor, 68, a retired Navy captain, teed off first, and told his son, "I think my ball might have gone in." Mike followed.

"We were very keen to look in the hole," he told the paper. "When we got up there, there were the two golf balls nestling in there."
