Focusing on the lives of contemporary Thai women, two original Thai plays add spice to your life. The evening starts with actress and director Sawanee Utumma's 15minute solo performance, "Somtam Cham Rak" ("A Brokenhearted Papaya Salad Vendor") dealing with a papaya salad vendor who falls in love with a soldier who's stationed on a pedestrian bridge. Phadungphong Prasartthong's onehour social drama "Her" comprises five monologues by Makhampom actresses, dealing with the violence contemporary Thai women are facing today. Today, tomorrow and Sunday, 7.30pm. Admission is pay what you can, and donations are accepted. Free parking on weekends is available at the nearby Big C.
