Crime Suppression Division officers did not identify the suspect but claimed he had confessed to shooting Apassanan Thitichotechaipreecha - who was earlier known by the name Raweewan Setarat - on September 13, and Boonlue Rungreueng on March 19. The suspect was nabbed at his Bangkok home following several days of stakeouts.

Police said they were following two other men - the alleged motorcyclist who facilitated the suspect's escape after the Sept 13 shooting, and another man who allegedly coordinated the killings.
