
Marut Maruekhathat, president of the oil and gas exploration firm, said that if the situation turns violent, the company is ready to move over 10 officers out of the country.
He said that at present, PTTEP's business in Burma has not been affected by the unrest as gas supply of 1,000 million cubic feet per day from Yadana and Yetakun fields has not been disrupted.
PTTEP has invested hundreds of million US dollar in the country.
Charoen Pokphand Group's executive vice-president Sarasin Viraphol also noted that the group's business in the country has not been affected by the unrest.
CP has supported the growing of corns in Rangoon and Tong Yi.
