Free car safety tests

Testcar, the first independent second-hand-car inspection company, is offering The Nation's subscribers and online readers a chance to win free safety tests.

With the latest computerised diagnostic technology and reporting system, a person without mechanical knowledge can understand the condition of his car after it has been checked. The test costs Bt3,500.

There are 12 prizes for six subscribers and six readers, on alternate months. While the first month's prize will go to a subscriber, an online reader will win the prize the following month.

Those interested can send in their names and e-mail addresses on the first date of each month, starting in October. Detail should be sent to ntauto@nationgroup.com (please indicate: Testcar draw), plus comments about what you like and dislike about the Business

Section.

Names of the winners will be announced on the 15th of each month in The Nation/Business Section and www.nationmultimedia.com (news/automobile).

The winners will also be informed through their e-mail addresses, after which an appointment with the company will be arranged.

For subscribers, please indicate your subscription numbers.

The results of each car test will also be printed in the Business Section/Auto page.
