Carrefour sells OTOP products

The Commerce Ministry has joined hands with France's Carrefour in selling community and local Thai products through the discount stores.

Commerce Minister Krirk-krai Jirapaet said initially, 600 selected OTOP products would be offered in the specially-arranged corner at six outlets - Rama IV, Lat Phrao, Ratchadapisek, Chon Buri, Chiang Mai and Pattaya. Within the end of this year, more outlets would join the "Carrefour...Thai Ways" campaign.

Initially, Carrefour would spend Bt100 million to buy OTOP products for the distribution.
