The 121-room property is known for rooms themed for children, an extensive kids' club and a wide range of family and children's services.The list of Best Family Resorts in Southeast Asia highlights hotels that cater specifically to families with children. Agoda says the number of bookings for family-style accommodation has quadrupled since 2004. This is complemented by an increase in the number of hotels specialising in children's facilities.  

Shoes and bags

The Mall Group is staging a Deluxe Affair Party in its Shoes and Bags Salons until October 3. It hopes to generate an additional Bt60 million in revenue and lift sales growth in the salons 15 per cent to Bt1.5 billion this year. The Shoes and Bags Salons in The Emporium and Siam Paragon record average spending of Bt2,000 per bill, whereas those in The Mall Department Stores have average spending of about Bt800 a bill.
