
The poetry should promote moral and spiritual values and demonstrate a resistance to all forms of materialistic trends in modern society.
ML Ananchanok Ladavalya Panichaputt was a lecturer in English and American literature at CU's Department of English. She obtained her doctoral degree from the University of Colorado and was a visiting fellow at Harvard and Yale universities as well as Amherst College, Massachusetts. A fellow of the American Council of Learned Societies, she also received notable mention in the 1995 edition of "Who's Who in the World".
Entrants must be Thai nationals studying in a university, or bachelor's degree holders or equivalent. The poetry, which has to be written in English, must be about 20-50 lines in length and should display originality.
Each contestant is requested to submit only one poem. The best entry will win a Bt10,000 prize.
