EXIM Bank to sell off Bt8.7-billion NPLs

Export-Import Bank of Thailand said it will commence auction process of the bank's Bt8.7-billion non-performing loans for investors.



 Baker Tilly Corporation Advisory Services (Thailand) Limited was appointed as financial advisor.

Both local and overseas investors are invited to participate in the auction by September 14 and the entire bidding process is set to complete in November. Of the total Bt8.7 billion, 80 per cent are secured debts.

   Apichai Boontherawara, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), said bid submission is scheduled for October 29 and the announcement of successful bidders on November 5. - The Nation
