Ex-Im Bank appoints IT and risk management chief

The Export-Import Bank of Thailand has appointed Suthanai Prasertsan as senior vice president of information technology department and acting first vice president of the risk management office.



In his capacity, he is in charge of IT and risk management systems to be in line with the Bank of Thailand's guidelines and Basel II framework.

Suthanai earned a bachelor degree in economics from Thammasat University and a master of science degree from Chulalongkorn University. He is also a certified information system auditor (CISA) and certified internal auditor (CIA). He has extensive work experience in computer and IT system management at Bank of Asia. In 1999, he became a director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Thailand in charge of customer advisory services in the areas of corporate governance, risk management, internal control and audit. His last post before joining the Ex-Im Bank was senior vice president for BankThai's internal audit department.
