Time to change the 'Wallpaper'

Two years ago next month, architect Kris Kiattisak hung up his shingle as editor-in-chief of the new Thai edition of Wallpaper magazine. Now he's taking it down and refocusing on building buildings.

Soopsip gave him a call and dazzled him with our inside sources. How did we know he was leaving? The identity of our fly on the Wallpaper shall remain a secret unless someone's offering us cash, so Kris simply stated, "I haven't told a lot of people yet, but of course I want to properly say goodbye to everyone."

Nothing's gone sour at the magazine's offices. He just decided he was no longer able to juggle both the editor's duties and his burgeoning architecture business.

"I've got a hotel project in Seattle, and it requires me to travel a lot," Kris said, adding that Wallpaper's acclaimed high quality and lively presentation remain guaranteed because the rest of the team is as dedicated as ever.

Is his name gone from its pages forever? "I guess I can contribute once in a while, but my tight schedule just won't allow me to make a long-term commitment, so this is the best solution."

Okay, then, we'll be keeping an eye on the Seattle skyline, Kris, and this better be good because you did great work at the magazine!
