Bangkok cinema scene

After a rousing reception as the closing film of the 2007 Bangkok International Film Festival, Muay Thai Chaiya opens in wide release this week. I understand that it has undergone some editing tweaks since its festival premiere, and I'm anxious to see it again, and to see if I'll spot the changes. The solo directorial debut by Kongkiat Khomsiri, this is one of my favorite Thai films of the year, if not the favorite.
