SET ends flat

Thai shares succumbed to early strong gains to end the market 0.06 per cent lower on Thursday.

The SET index surged to intraday's peak at 800.40 points in early trading before profit-taking overweighted the market and pushing down the stock market to close at 791.58. Turnover was thin at Bt13.60 billion.

PTT Plc (PTT) rose 0.7 per cent at Bt292, Thai Oil Plc (TOP) was up 2.6 per cent at Bt80, and PTT Exploration and Production Plc (PTTEP) edged up 0.9 per cent at Bt118.
