SME Bank grants loan to SMEs in northeast

Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME Bank) said it has jointly launched loans for SMEs in the northeast with Small Scale Industry Development Project (SSID).



The total loan was accounted at Bt200 million, Bt120 million was contributed by SME Bank and the rest of Bt80 million was contributed by SSID.

Borrowers will be granted loan up to Bt5 million each. But SME who borrows less than Bt2 million will be offered lending rate of only 4.5 per cent per annum. Those who borrow more than Bt2 million will be charged regarding their business risk. The maximum loan maturity is 10 years. - The Nation
