Finding no trace of forced entry and hearing Dedsuda's confusing testimony, police suspected she might be involved and searched through her room and work areas, including an ironing room where the valuables were found in a plastic bag hidden in a clothes basket.

The maid, who was arrested for stealing, refused to give any further testimony. Tarisa forgave the maid and said she wished not to file a police compliant against Dedsuda, but police were obliged to press charges because it was a criminal case.
