Bangkok's Ninth International Festival of Dance and Music

The annual International Festival of Dance and Music kicks off with His Majesty's Blues Concert, featuring performances of HM the King's compositions by more than 100 artists, including Sobchai "Ford" Kraiyurasen, Jennifer Kim, Radklao Amaradit and Surachai "Ta" Wongbuakao.

Other highlights include Anuradha Pal's Street Shaki and Pallabi De, Kathak Dance from India, the National Ballet of Portugal, the Zurich Ballet, Russia's Ekaterinburg Symphony Orchestra and Opera and Argentina's No-Bailaras Tango Company.

The event closes with "Flamenco and Spanish Dances" performed by Spain's leading dance company, Ballet Nacional de Espana.

Funeral for a Friend

Welsh rockers Funeral for a Friend make their Bangkok debut to promote their album, "Tales Don't Tell Themselves". The quintet comprises lead vocalist and guitarist Matthew Davies-Kreye, bassist Gareth Davies, drummer Ryan Richards and guitarists Kris Coombs-Roberts and Darran Smith. With their third full-length studio album, the band has scored hits with the songs "Into Oblivion (Reunion)", "On a Wire" and "The Sweetest Wave".

Winners of the "Best UK Newcomer" award from Kerrang magazine in 2003, the band performed at the Leeds Festival and on the NME Awards Tour and has toured with Linkin Park.

Disney Live! Mickey's Magic Show

Classic Disney characters join with illusionists Brad Ross and Alex Gonzalez for an exciting 90-minute magic show.

Beyond spells, illusions and hat-tricks, audiences will see master magician, Mickey Mouse, team up with Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, and Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter to excite and mystify their fellow characters with feats like levitating princess Jasmine, enchanting broomsticks, and transforming Cinderella's rags to a beautiful gown in seconds onstage.
