BOT stronger baht is normal
The Bank of Thailand said the movement of Thai baht Thursday is normal.
The Bank of Thailand said that the movement of Thai baht, which moves stronger against the US dollar, on Thursday is normal.
Nitaya Pibulratanagit, BOT's assistant governor, said that the baht movement was normal. Thai baht on Thursday opened slightly stronger compared to the US dollar.
Nitaya attrited the movement was normal, according to the floating exchange rate regime.
She attributed the recent drop of the baht to the fact that the risk aversion attempt by foreign investors due to concerns over the mortgage crisis in the US market.
