
The ACOMMS Awards are managed by the cooperation between the Communications Alliance and the Communications Day, the respected Australian industry publication. The Awards are judged primarily on the basis of eligible performance and contribution within Australia telecommunications market , regardless of size, location, or Communications Alliance membership and whether service providers, vendors or suppliers of professional services. It is considered one of the most prestigious telecom awards of Australia.
IPSTAR launched its broadband services in Australia in November 2005. Thanks to Australian Government Funding, IPSTAR Australia can offer broadband services for as low as AU$29.95 (Bt900) per month. Currently, it has deployed approximately 23,000 users terminal and growing steadily to reach 35,000 by end 2007.
