All its premium class guests travelling within 60 kilometres of Suvarnabhumi can now access the complimentary luxury chauffeur service. It will also be introduced to other key destinations across Etihad's fast expanding global network during the coming year.
"Etihad has established a reputation for providing the very highest standards of hospitality and Etihad Chauffeur is a further example of our outstanding service quality," Florian Preuss, Etihad's manager for Thailand and the Mekong region, said last week.
"We understand that the ground experience is often just as important as time in the air, with travelling time to and from airports often leaving guests feeling pressured, something the chauffeur service totally removes."
Bookings must be made and confirmed 24 hours prior to service requirement.
Settrade co-hosts youth music contest
Settrade and Mahidol University's College of Music are inviting youths up to 25 years of age to enter the 11th Settrade Youth Music Competition of Thailand.
The contest offers more than Bt600,000 in prizes.
"This event promotes Thai youths and culture by giving musically-gifted kids the opportunity to display their talent," Settrade.Com CEO Chanisa Chutipat said last week.
"It's Settrade.Com's way to contribute to society through something other than our business providing online trading facilities."
The competition draws at least 500 applicants each year, with a growing number from outside Bangkok. Last year saw a 20-per-cent increase in upcountry contestants.
